The Contact Center is a unit within the administrative department at the Municipal Executive Office in Sollentuna Municipality. Your workplace is in a newly renovated town hall near Sollentuna Center.

For ten years, the Contact Center has been the municipality's joint customer service, tasked with helping residents and businesses get answers to their questions or guiding them in the right direction. Residents, companies, and other stakeholders contact us with questions about, among other things, childcare, schools, elderly care, social services, transport services, building permits, and traffic. We offer high accessibility and good treatment, and strive to resolve as many cases as possible during the first contact. In addition to helping residents and businesses, we have a mandate to act as a development engine in municipal operations. Our key words are customer perspective, solution focus, and commitment.

Job Description

Contact Center case workers are committed to helping the municipality's customers in a professional manner. We are 25 employees divided into four groups. We are now looking for you who want to work in the Contact Center's group for Building and Traffic.

Our customers ask most about building permits, urban planning, traffic, nature, and environmental and health protection. Customers can also ask about the library's services or need consumer information. You answer questions primarily via phone and email, but occasionally also in the Contact Center's visit room in the town hall. You guide users in e-services, receive error reports, and handle administrative tasks. You process land use permits and applications for parking permits for people with disabilities. We also handle damage compensation cases.

You work in parallel in many different systems and have close contact with our commissioners at the Municipal Executive Office. You identify ways we can simplify things for the customer, update the Contact Center's checklists, write new routines, or follow up on statistics. Education and change are part of everyday life.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • You have worked for at least two years providing good customer service
  • You have studied, or are studying, at a university or college, and it is an advantage if you have studied a program within the field of urban planning
  • You speak and write fluent Swedish and have good knowledge of English

  • Have an interest in the questions within the area you will be working in
  • Are involved in developing and challenging existing working methods and routines
