Our client is in an exciting phase of growth and development, investing in creating a modern, efficient, and business-close finance function with high digital maturity. We are now looking for a Senior Accountant with a property background and extensive experience in regulatory frameworks and reporting.

About the role

In this role, you will work broadly with closing, analysis, and reporting for various parts of the business. You are responsible for ensuring quality, transparency, and reliability in financial information, while actively contributing to the development of processes, system support, and working methods. You will play a central role in building and further developing structures as the finance function evolves and strengthens internally.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for parts of the closing process for several companies within the group, focusing on quality, structure, and delivery security.
• Perform ongoing accounting, reconciliations, and accruals in accordance with IFRS and RFR2.
• Ensure correct and efficient reporting in closing and reporting tools.
• Handle tax calculations and ensure correct handling of tax-related issues.
• Work in a process-oriented manner and contribute to standardizing and streamlining the closing process.
• Ensure high data quality and clear documentation in reporting.
• Be responsible for and develop central flows, such as overhead allocation, management fees, and administration fees.
• Contribute to the development of working methods, processes, and system support with a focus on digitalization and automation.
• Collaborate closely with other parts of the finance function to ensure an efficient overall flow.
• Support analysis, follow-up, and preparation of decision-making materials.

Suitable background

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in qualified accounting, closing, and/or financial analysis, as well as extensive experience from the property industry. To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• Have experience from larger companies or group environments.
• Are confident in closing work and financial flows.
• Have good system understanding and are accustomed to modern accounting systems.
• Have an interest in digitalization, automation, and data-driven working methods.
