We are now looking for a Head of Accounting who wants to take overall responsibility for accounting while simultaneously developing the processes, systems, and ways of working that will drive the company forward.

About the role

As Head of Accounting, you will hold a central position in the organization and work closely with the CFO, CEO, auditors, and other key stakeholders in the business.

You will be responsible for the accounting and annual financial statements of the group's companies, ensuring high quality in financial processes. Equally important is driving the finance function forward. The goal is to gradually build a more AI-driven accounting function, with fewer manual tasks, faster reconciliations, and more time for analysis and business support. This is not a side project but one of the most important parts of the role, both in the short and long term.

Your responsibilities

In the role of Head of Accounting, you will among other things:

• Drive the development and automation of systems, processes, and ways of working, with a view towards an increasingly AI-driven finance function.
• Be responsible for accounting, annual financial statements, and group consolidation for the group's companies.
• Ensure efficient, quality-assured, and scalable financial processes.
• Act as a close partner to the CFO and contribute financial insights to the business.

We believe you are

Academically educated in economics or finance, with several years of experience in qualified accounting work.

You are confident in annual reporting, financial statements, and K3 standards, while also having a genuine drive to find smarter ways of working.

As a person, you are curious, structured, and unpretentious. You take initiative, drive issues forward, and enjoy collaborating with different parts of the business.
