About the Company

We are looking for an HR Consultant with at least three (3) years of experience in operational HR work for an assignment in the Stockholm area. The client is a Swedish government agency.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will work broadly within HR and serve as a close support to managers in operational and labor law matters. The assignment includes both strategic and more administrative HR tasks.

The assignment primarily involves:

• Supporting and advising managers on labor law, recruitment, and systematic work environment work/rehabilitation.
• Handling operational administrative processes and systems within the above areas.
• Contributing to the development and simplification of HR processes within the above areas.
• Working as management support in organizational matters, change management, and personnel issues.

The HR unit consists of five employees – two payroll administrators and two HR specialists – and is led by the HR Manager.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a confident and independent HR consultant with a broad perspective on HR work and a good understanding of what it is like to work in the public sector. You have the ability to switch between operational and advisory tasks and thrive in the role of supporting managers in their daily work.

We would like you to have:

• An academic degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• At least three (3) years of experience in operational HR work.
• Documented experience in labor law, recruitment, and systematic work environment work.
• Experience working closely with managers on personnel and organizational issues.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

Merits:

• Experience of HR work within a government agency.

You are structured, communicative, and solution-oriented, with a professional and non-hierarchical attitude. You collaborate well and are confident in taking responsibility, both in your own work and in a coordinating role towards colleagues, even without formal managerial responsibility. Previous experience leading or coordinating work in a team is a plus.

The assignment is full-time and is expected to run from 2026-09-01 to 2027-02-28.
