We are looking for a Holiday Job Coordinator/Work Consultant for the Employment Unit (AME). Here, you will have a broad and meaningful role where you both support adult residents of Tyresö towards employment or studies and drive the municipality's holiday job process for young people. A common goal for both assignments is the same: to help more Tyresö residents – young and old – take the step into working life.

The Employment Unit exists for Tyresö residents who need extra support on their way to work, studies, or other benefits, and we drive the municipality's holiday job process for young people. We always start from the premise that everyone wants and can contribute to the labor market, and our work rests on a few clear principles: work and study focus from day one, that the individual owns their own planning, and that we are there as support and sounding board. We work based on evidence-based methods such as motivational interviewing, Supported employment, Supported education, and Case management.

About the position

As a Holiday Job Coordinator/Work Consultant with us, you have a divided but cohesive role:

Holiday Jobs – from employer contact to matching. You take overall responsibility for the municipality's holiday job process: you seek out and build relationships with workplaces within the municipality, the association life, and the business community to create holiday job placements. You also match young people (16–17 years old) to the right place based on their conditions and special needs. You are also the contact person for businesses and Tyresö residents in the holiday job work. This also involves administrative tasks in digital systems, such as matching, documentation, and follow-up, as well as administration regarding salary payments.

During parts of the year, the holiday job work will take up a large part of the position, and you will collaborate with a colleague regarding what is needed. During other parts of the year, the holiday job work can be combined with work with, among other things, this to support Tyresö residents into work and studies:

Employer Contact. You work actively with employer contacts for all participants in the unit. You enjoy establishing new collaborations with employers, maintaining and preserving existing employer contacts, selling participants to employers, working with matches that are good for both Tyresö residents and employers, and working to support the start of internships and employment so that they last and become long-term positions.

Group Activities. You also work with holding group activities with a focus on Tyresö residents taking the next step towards work and studies.

Individual Support for Tyresö Residents. There will also be individual support for Tyresö residents on the way to work and studies.

The position is within the unit as a whole and involves participating in and driving development work where exact tasks may vary over time based on the operations' needs and development.

Who are you?

You have an academic education, e.g., within social work, behavioral science, personnel/HR, pedagogical education, study and career guidance, or another direction we assess as equivalent. You also have experience of working with young people previously.

You should have experience of some of these, and an interest in working with all of these:

• Experience of holiday job work
• Work with employer contacts
• Recruitment and matching
• Guiding, supporting, coaching, or similar work towards the labor market
• Holding group activities

As a person, you are preferably structured and enjoy driving processes, while being flexible when daily life requires it. You like to combine contact with people with administrative tasks in digital systems. You are team-oriented, non-hierarchical, and thrive in a team where we help each other.

It is meritorious if you have experience of working with young people, the Swedish Public Employment Service's processes, or evidence-based methods such as motivational interviewing (MI), Supported employment (SE), Supported Education (SEd), or Case management (CM).
