FAR is now looking for a Senior Audit Specialist for a longer-term assignment where you will have a unique opportunity to combine qualified member advisory services with development work in audit methodology, regulations, and the future of the profession. Here you will work closely with the issues shaping the audit industry while supporting Sweden's auditors in their most complex and current questions.

FAR is an industry organization within accounting, auditing, and advisory services. We develop clear rules of the game and ensure the right competence for the industry as well as reliable information for business and society. FAR is also one of Sweden's largest private education companies within the economic field, with 400 training events annually. FAR Online is also the leading service for digital access to regulations and guidance within the economic field.
FAR has over 5,000 members and approximately 900 affiliated member companies, which together employ approximately 20,000 people. FAR's members are authorized and approved auditors, authorized accounting consultants, authorized tax advisors, authorized payroll consultants and specialists, as well as small and large companies within accounting, auditing, and advisory services. Auditors are authorized by the Swedish Inspectorate of Auditors, which also exercises regulatory supervision. FAR authorizes accounting consultants, payroll consultants, and tax advisors and exercises quality control over these.
FAR issues statements and recommendations on how, for example, new laws and regulations should be interpreted from an accounting and auditing perspective. Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are an experienced authorized auditor with a strong interest in methodology, regulations, and the development of the profession. You have built up solid competence through many years of work within auditing and thrive in a role where you get to analyze complex issues, share your knowledge, and act as an advisor to other professionals.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Authorized Auditor (Cand.Merc.Aud.)
- Many years of experience from audit work at an audit firm
- At least 3 years of experience as an authorized auditor
- Very good methodological knowledge within auditing
- Experience of auditing for small and medium-sized companies within K2 and K3
- Experience of different association forms and corporate structures
- Good understanding of adjacent areas such as accounting, tax, and payroll
- Experience of advisory services and qualified customer dialogue
- Good IT competence
- Fluent Swedish and good English in speech and writing

What does the role entail?
In the role of Auditor, you become a central part of FAR's member advisory services. You function as qualified support for FAR's members and guide them in issues within auditing and accounting. The questions vary from practical application issues to more complex method- and regulation-related matters, which means that you continuously work close to the issues that are most current in the industry.
You become part of a specialist team consisting of auditors, lawyers, and accounting experts who together work to ensure high quality and relevant guidance for FAR's members. The work is characterized by close collaboration, extensive knowledge exchange, and a common ambition to be at the forefront of the industry's development.
With tasks including, for example:
- Advisory services to FAR's members within auditing and accounting
- Interpretation and application of regulations, recommendations, and professional ethics
- Handling and documentation of member cases in Dynamics CRM
- Collaboration with internal specialists within law, auditing, and accounting
- Creation and development of guidelines, templates, and method support
- Environmental scanning and analysis of new regulations and industry issues
- Opportunity to contribute to knowledge dissemination through webinars, podcasts, and other member activities
- Participate in the development of FAR's advisory and knowledge offerings.
The assignment is a consulting position starting in September 2026 through December 2027. The position covers 75–80% employment and offers hybrid work with three days in the office and two days remote.
