Workplace Description
Kungsholmen Primary School is a grades F-9 school with approximately 1,100 students. The school covers primary school, adapted primary school, after-school centers (fritidshem), and after-school clubs. The operations are divided into grades F-3, 4-6, 7-9, and adapted primary school. The school leadership consists of the principal, deputy principals, and an administrative manager.
For every student, regardless of prerequisites, to develop and progress as far as possible in their knowledge acquisition, knowledge, learning, and safety are crucial factors for success. At Kungsholmen Primary School, we place great emphasis on safety and student health work.
Job Description
As a teacher for after-school centers, you contribute to ensuring that daily life at the school functions well and that the after-school center activities and daily pedagogical work are based on the students' prerequisites and needs.
You will plan and carry out activities, conduct adapted operations based on the needs and prerequisites of both individuals and groups, and actively work with good treatment and equal value for all so that everyone feels good when participating in the activities.
Together with your colleagues, you strive for a trusting, open, and respectful collaboration with families.
In the role of a teacher for after-school centers, you are responsible for ensuring that instruction is designed in accordance with the Education Act, the curriculum, and other national and municipal regulatory documents.
Qualifications
You have experience working with both promoting, preventive, and corrective safety work.
Planning, implementing, evaluating, and following up on operations based on goals and guidelines is second nature to you. You contribute to creating meaningful operations, apply flexible working methods, and adapt the learning environment.
You should have a democratic and empathetic approach where instruction combined with care stimulates students' learning.
We expect you to have high professionalism and experience leading both small and large student groups. You contribute to a developmental collaboration with colleagues and guardians.
You are secure, stable, have good self-insight, and adapt your approach depending on the situation.
You appreciate working towards goals and focus on continuous improvements of the operations and your own professional practice. You have good collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and guardians. You have a good ability to listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You are structured by planning, organizing, and prioritizing work in an effective manner.
Knowledge and experience in caring for children with diabetes is meritorious.
Since the role involves written documentation and oral communication, it is a requirement that you express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
