The Role and Responsibilities

As a Mathematics Teacher at Malmsjö School in Vårsta, Botkyrka Municipality, you will teach students in grades 6–9. Your mission is to make mathematics understandable, relevant, and fun. Through varied teaching methods and strong pedagogical leadership, you will help every student reach their full potential – whether they need extra support or additional challenges. In addition to Mathematics, we require you to have a subject combination with Swedish teacher certification in Technology and/or Natural Sciences (NO).

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating Mathematics teaching based on the Swedish National Curriculum (Lgr22).
• Creating a safe, study-focused, and stimulating learning environment in the classroom.
• Monitoring and documenting students' knowledge development and assigning grades.
• Collaborating in work teams and subject teams to develop the school's pedagogical work.
• Maintaining a close and trusting dialogue with students and guardians. The role includes mentorship duties.

Who You Are

Requirements:

• Swedish teacher certification and eligibility to teach Mathematics as well as Technology and/or Natural Sciences.

Merits:

• Experience working as a teacher.
• ICT skills (Google).
• Experience with V-Klass (Swedish school management system).
