The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary and Secondary School Committee. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age care, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. All our employees play an important role in this implementation.

Utsäljeskolan is a completely new municipal school in Huddinge with both primary school and adapted primary school, located in a quiet villa area on the border between Stuvsta and Segeltorp. Today, we are a three-stream F-8 school, and next academic year, we will become a fully expanded F-9 school. We currently have nearly 700 students and over 100 staff members who thrive in our fantastic facilities.

The school has a well-functioning student health team as well as special educators who work closely with teachers in daily operations. Our students have access to Chrome Books used in schoolwork. We place great emphasis on having a balance between analog and digital working methods to promote students' development and creativity.

About the job

We are looking for a certified Art teacher at 50% for the next academic year. Mentoring will also be included in your position. Together with your colleagues in the work team and subject team, you will be responsible for ensuring that teaching best meets the students' needs and stimulates good social and knowledge development.

About you

You are a certified Art teacher and have experience teaching Art. To succeed in your assignment, you need to be well acquainted with the school's governing documents and be skilled at expressing yourself in speech and writing. You have good subject knowledge and a clearly structured teaching approach. You work language-developing in all subjects and conduct varied teaching. You see documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work. You have good ability for analysis and reflection and constantly develop your teaching. You see yourself as a natural part of creating good conditions for students' learning.
