Main Responsibilities
The position involves providing administrative support to the entire department, with a particular focus on working closely with the managers. The tasks range from more qualified administrative duties to recurring routine assignments. The role has a broad scope, involving administrative matters related to law, business, and personnel administration. You will function as the "hub" of the department and have the opportunity to both develop and manage routines within your area. To succeed in this role, you must easily adapt to the operations, understand the various needs of our large organization, and be interested in finding innovative solutions and driving improvement work. The tasks place high demands on teamwork, independence, a systematic approach, service orientation, and the ability to work under pressure. The position is located at the Headquarters' Division for Business and Supply Management in central Stockholm.

The Chief of Defence and the Director General are located at the Headquarters. The Headquarters has approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts. As of 2023-01-01, the Headquarters consists of the Defence Staff, the Operations Command, the Military Intelligence and Security Service, as well as the Headquarters' Staff Division and independent supervision units.
Employment with us involves placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required. Security clearance with register check will be conducted prior to employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
