About the role

As a Business Controller, you will become a central partner to managers and contract economists in our operations, with a focus on strategic customers within the Corporate Services business segment. You work both operationally and strategically, ensuring that economic decisions are based on correct analysis, clear forecasts, and effective follow-up.

Your main areas of responsibility:

• Financial closing and reporting — Reconciliation of revenues and costs, follow-up on profitability per customer/contract, reporting of results, and compilation and follow-up of action plans.
• Forecast and budget process — Updating quarterly forecasts and preparing and supporting the development of targets/budgets.
• Business support and business development — Support in bidding processes and the launch of new units, including the setup of profit centers/cost centers, establishment of financial routines, and follow-up of action plans both on-site and digitally.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in qualified economic work, including at least two years as a Business Controller. Interest in systems and very good skills in Excel are important. Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous, as is previous experience with any analysis tool.

To thrive at Sodexo and be successful in the role of Business Controller, you are proactive, unpretentious, and enjoy collaboration and cooperation. You understand and analyze complex issues quickly and like to put the numbers into a business context. Helpful and pedagogical are two additional important qualities for succeeding in the assignment.
