On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for an interim manager within rental law. The position is full-time, expected to start on 2026-08-10 and run until 2027-08-31, with the possibility of extension.

About the Assignment

We are now seeking an experienced lawyer with documented leadership experience for a consultancy role as head of the rental law group at one of Stockholm's leading public housing companies.

As the acting manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a group of specialists in rental law. The assignment entails overall responsibility for operations, employees, and working environment, as well as ensuring the legally secure, efficient, and high-quality handling of rental law cases.

You will play a key role in creating continuity, structure, and stability in the operations, while contributing to the development of working methods and processes within the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and distribute work within the group
• Assume personnel, working environment, and operational responsibility
• Ensure legally secure handling of rental law cases
• Provide qualified legal support to the operations
• Represent the organization in rental law matters and external contacts
• Drive development and improvement work within the operational area
• Ensure continuity and knowledge transfer within the organization

The Operational Area Includes, Among Other Things

• Disturbance cases
• Neglect of premises
• Late and missed rent payments
• Customer receivables
• Eviction prevention work
• Illegal subletting
• Incorrect use of housing
• Rental law disputes
• Contact with authorities and negotiations
• Internal legal advice

Start: 2026-08-10
End: 2027-08-31 (with possibility of extension)
Scope: 100%, 40 hours per week
Location: Stockholm
Other: Some possibility of remote work by agreement, but physical presence at the office is expected for the majority of the time.

About You

We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Law degree
• Several years of experience in qualified work within rental law
• Documented experience in personnel or team leadership
• Experience in independently handling complex rental law cases
• Experience with authority contacts and negotiations
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• Experience from a public housing company
• Experience from a property management organization
• Experience in change and development work
• Experience leading specialists or lawyers
• Experience in work related to social sustainability and security issues
