CFO sought for growing group
We are currently recruiting a CFO for an expansive and acquisition-intensive group consisting of approximately 20 companies. The operations are characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit, high tempo, and short decision-making paths.
The company is in a development phase with a clear growth agenda and a need for a strong financial leader who can ensure structure, control, and strategic progress.
About the role
As CFO, you have overall responsibility for the group's financial management, reporting, and financing. You work closely with the Group CEO, the board, and the capital markets, and are a natural part of the management team.
This is a role that combines strategic height with operational responsibility. The finance function is relatively small, meaning you need to be hands-on and confident throughout the entire accounting chain.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Financial reporting and ensuring its accuracy in all aspects – towards management, the board, and capital markets
- Quarterly reporting according to IFRS
- Monthly reporting to the board and management
- Ensuring the group accounts are correct, as well as preparing and quality-assuring acquisition analyses
- Own and drive capital raising processes, bank negotiations, and refinancing
- Ensure short- and long-term financing
- Handle Investor Relations matters and ensure compliance with stock exchange regulations, including MAR
- Ensure the business has the correct management reporting and KPIs for control
- Handle complex issues within tax and corporate law related to group structure and acquisitions
- Be responsible for internal control and develop processes and routines for efficient and accurate reporting
- Act as a business partner to the Group CEO, management, and subsidiary managers
- Develop and strengthen the finance team
We are looking for you who:
You are a person with gravitas and integrity. You are pragmatic, solution-oriented, and see opportunities instead of problems. You are tough when required, but unpretentious in your collaboration.
You can be clear and decisive, while simultaneously listening and building trust within the organization. You thrive in an environment with tempo, change, and high demands.
You are an experienced CFO or senior finance manager with deep competence in group accounting, IFRS, and financing. You have experience with complex structures and acquisition-driven growth.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in group accounting and the entire accounting chain
- Very good knowledge of IFRS
- Experience in reporting to the board and capital markets
- Documented experience in capital raising, financing, and bank negotiations
- Experience in acquisitions and divestments, including financial, legal, and tax aspects
- Good knowledge of tax and corporate law
- Strong competence in accounting and controlling
- Experience in building structure, internal control, and efficient processes
- Fluent in Swedish and English
Meritorious:
- Experience from an acquisition-intensive or listed environment
Start date: By agreement.
Other:
Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
