Social Zense is in an exciting phase of strong growth. After eight years as a specialist agency within performance marketing, the company is achieving its best results to date and is now expanding its operations in Malmö. Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Performance Marketer who wants to take independent responsibility for both advertising and the relationship with some of the agency's clients.

Here you work directly with clients and have the mandate to influence both campaigns, channel selection, and the long-term client business.

About the role

As a Senior Performance Marketer, you are typically responsible for five to six clients in parallel. The client portfolio consists of a mix of B2C, e-commerce, ticket sales, and B2B, with varying media budgets and business objectives.

You work operationally within the platforms but are also expected to understand the client's business, identify opportunities, and translate data into clear recommendations. The role involves both ongoing optimization and close client dialogue.

Your main areas of responsibility will be to:

  • Plan and execute campaigns primarily in Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize advertising against the client's business goals.
  • Be responsible for budget, follow-up, and reporting.
  • Build strong and long-term relationships with clients.
  • Recommend new channels, markets, and ways of working when there is potential.

In the beginning, you will get to know your client portfolio, establish trust in client relationships, and become confident in Social Zense's way of working. You are expected to gradually be able to drive assignments independently and create a clear picture of what works, what needs to change, and which efforts should be prioritized.

After six months, you should be able to take clear ownership of both the account results and the development of client relationships.

Your background

You have at least three years of experience in digital advertising and are self-sufficient in both Meta Ads and Google Ads. You understand how channel strategy, campaign structure, target audiences, creative formats, budget, and follow-up are interconnected.

You also need to have a basic technical understanding of tracking. You know why correct measurement is crucial and can handle basic implementation of pixels via Google Tag Manager.

We would also like you to have:

  • Good competence in both paid social and paid search.
  • Experience with budget responsibility and result follow-up.
  • Experience presenting results and recommendations to clients.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and priorities in parallel.
  • Basic knowledge of GTM, pixels, and cookie consent.
  • Very good Swedish and English skills, both written and spoken.

Why the role is interesting

At Social Zense, you get a broad and independent role where you combine operational performance marketing with strategic consulting, client responsibility, and business development. At the same time, the company is growing and the organization is developing continuously. This creates the opportunity to influence both your own role and how the agency's offering is shaped in the long run.

The culture is social, helpful, and flat, with close collaboration and great freedom under responsibility. Here, you are expected to take initiative, ask questions, and contribute to the team even outside your own client portfolio, while the company values sustainable working methods and clear boundaries with clients.

In addition to a fixed salary, there is a bonus model linked to client retention and the development of existing business. The role is based at Social Zense's office in Kolgahuset, near Malmö Central Station, with a hybrid setup where you work three days in the office and two days from home.
