MediCarrier is Region Stockholm's central warehouse and company for logistics and transport to healthcare.

Our mission impacts the daily lives of nearly a quarter of Sweden's population. Every day, all year round, we create the conditions for our colleagues in healthcare to perform their work. By ensuring, for example, that important blood samples are transported for analysis and that products such as test tubes, surgical materials, and protective equipment are always in place, we contribute to Region Stockholm's healthcare. This is a responsibility that is not always visible, but is crucial for healthcare to function safely and securely. Without the right conditions at the right time, healthcare stops.

At MediCarrier, you are part of a socially important mission, right in the middle of healthcare's daily operations.

About the operations

In a time of a rapidly changing external environment, new legislative requirements, national assignments, and a clearer responsibility within civil defense, the demands on healthcare to function during peacetime crises and heightened readiness are increasing. Changed regulatory requirements regarding the storage of healthcare products require a cohesive and integrated IT environment for supply, enabling transparency, traceability, analysis, and control of supply flows for healthcare. The goal is to create a consolidated, secure, and efficient system environment that supports the entire supply chain – from ordering and warehouse management to distribution, follow-up, and analysis – and that supports a common logistics design, enables efficient flows and increased automation, and creates conditions for a data-driven operation.

Do you want to help future-proof Region Stockholm's supply?
