Are you an experienced accounting specialist who thrives in complex environments where quality, structure, and precision are paramount? 📊 We are now looking for a qualified accounting consultant to take a central role in group accounting, annual financial statements, and annual reports within a large and socially significant organization.

📍 Stockholm (hybrid work possible after onboarding) 🕒 Full-time | Assignment September 2026 – March 2027, with possibility of extension

In this role, you will strengthen the finance and accounting function before and during an extensive closing period. You will become a key person in ensuring high quality, efficient processes, and deliveries within set timeframes.

The assignment combines strategic work with operational responsibility and suits you if you enjoy both developing processes and being actively involved in practical execution.

• Plan and monitor closing processes together with responsible stakeholders.

• Identify risks and critical dependencies in schedules.

• Ensure deadlines are met through proactive follow-up and risk management.

• Develop and standardize templates, checklists, and routines.

• Create efficient working methods that strengthen quality and consistency in the accounting process.

• Ensure compliance with current accounting principles and regulations.

• Handle complex issues including:

  • K3 (Swedish Group Reporting)

  • VAT reporting

  • Tax matters

  • Externally funded projects

  • Operations with mixed characteristics

• Actively participate in closing and annual reporting work.

• Perform reconciliations of complex balance sheet and income statement items.

• Prepare documentation for internal and external audit.

• Ensure annual reports are completed according to plan.

• Conduct final quality review prior to audit.

• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary supporting documents.

• Contribute to efficient and well-executed audit processes.

• Document working methods and ensure knowledge transfer to the business.

• Contribute with suggestions for improvement regarding processes, systems, and working methods.

• Be an active party in the development of the accounting function.

✅ At least 5–10 years of experience in qualified accounting work

✅ Several years of experience with:

• Annual financial statements

• Annual reports

• Group accounting

✅ Very good knowledge of:

• K3 regulations

• Swedish accounting

• VAT and tax matters

✅ Experience with complex organizations and group structures

✅ Proficiency in finance and consolidation systems

✅ Experience working in projects or operations with high demands on delivery and quality

• Audit background

• Experience from labor-intensive service operations

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Experience with Unit4 FPM, Mercur Solutions, or similar systems

• Very good skills in Excel
