Quality Coordinator for Social Services in Järfälla

The area of Quality and Health is part of the Social Services Administration, where the Quality Unit and the Health and Medical Care Unit collaborate closely. Around 80 employees work here together with about 50 substitutes and specialists such as dietitians, dementia coordinators, and quality functions. For the past three years, the healthcare personnel in our own management have been co-organized, creating good conditions for collaboration, development, and a holistic perspective.

As a Quality Coordinator within HSL (Health and Social Care), you work close to the operations and become an important engine in our systematic quality work. You contribute to developing working methods, driving improvement initiatives, and ensuring that care maintains high quality and patient safety. You have overall responsibility for supporting operations, driving and developing systematic quality work, initiating and leading your own development assignments, and contributing to safe, secure, and person-centered care for our patients in the elderly care and disability sectors.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of Quality Coordinator, you get a dynamic and multifaceted job where you drive development and strengthen the quality in our operations. Here you get to combine strategic work with operational implementation, always with the goal of creating safe and secure care for our patients.

You work on behalf of the area manager and in close collaboration with management, employees, and our quality functions. Together you shape the direction forward, and you are one of those who ensure that it really happens.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Lead and coordinate development and improvement projects
• Support managers in systematic quality and patient safety work
• Compile, analyze statistics, follow up on results, and turn insights into concrete improvements
• Act as a key link between operations and various collaboration partners
• Develop, implement, and follow up on routines and processes within HSL
• Work with quality registers and ensure correct reporting
• Be a superuser in our HSL journal systems and provide local support in system matters
• Handle, analyze, and follow up on deviations, and prepare decision materials and reports
• Actively contribute to the operations meeting set goals

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who have a strong drive to develop the healthcare sector and who thrive in a role where strategic thinking is combined with operationally close work. To succeed in this position, we see that you have:

• Registered Nurse with at least three years of professional experience
• Experience in operational development, systematic quality work, and driving improvement projects within the public sector
• Good knowledge of legislation and regulations within healthcare and social services
• Ability to lead workshops, training, and change processes in an inclusive and inspiring way
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to create good collaborations
• Very good computer literacy, strong administrative ability, and well-developed digital competence

Meritorious:

• Documented management experience
• Previous experience of working within quality functions and leading projects
• Documented experience of working with management systems and process-oriented working methods
• Work in support systems such as Hypergene, 2c8, or Stratsys
