Coordinator at Sympati AB

Sympati AB is now looking for an engaged and structured Coordinator for our supported housing (boendestöd) operations. In this important role, you will work closely with clients, support staff, and the unit manager to ensure high quality, good continuity, and professional treatment in our services.

The position is located at our office on Södermalm in Stockholm. You will work in a team together with the unit manager and additional coordinators.

About Sympati AB

Sympati provides supported housing, escort services, and replacement care with the aim of strengthening the individual's ability to manage their daily life independently.

Since 2016, Sympati has provided supported housing in all districts within Stockholm City. The operations are currently conducted under framework agreements with Stockholm City, Huddinge Municipality, and Solna City, as well as through individual agreements with Lidingö City, Sundbyberg City, Värmdö Municipality, and Haninge Municipality.

Sympati AB is covered by collective agreements through Vårdföretagarna (Healthcare Employers).

About the Role

As a Coordinator, you play a key role in the operations. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on our services, acting as an important link between clients, support staff, social services, and other partners.

This role suits you if you enjoy having many contact points, like creating structure, and have the ability to prioritize when operational needs change.

Responsibilities

  • Administer orders in ParaSol and Sympati's business system.
  • Responsible for kick-off meetings and maintain ongoing contact with clients.
  • Ensure that clients receive support in accordance with current orders.
  • Plan and schedule the working hours of support staff.
  • Ensure that services are performed with good quality according to orders, legislation, and Sympati's guidelines.
  • Provide support to support staff in their daily work.
  • Participate in salary and employee reviews together with the unit manager.
  • Administer invoicing documentation.
  • Collaborate with case managers and other actors as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in administrative work and coordination.
  • Good computer skills and the ability to work in various operational systems.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to plan, structure, and prioritize in an operation where conditions sometimes change with short notice.

Merits

  • Experience in social work, for example within supported housing, social psychiatry, LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), social services, or other operations within healthcare and social care.
  • Experience in coordination, staffing, or leadership.
  • Experience with ParaSol or similar operational systems.
  • Experience working on behalf of a municipality or social services.
