Do you want to be the link between education and working life and contribute to helping adults find employment and professional competence?
Movant in Stockholm is now looking for an engaged and structured APL (Work Integrated Learning) Coordinator who wants to help develop and ensure the quality of our APL placements. The role involves close collaboration with the industry within the educational areas of HVAC (VVS) and property management.
About the role
As an APL Coordinator, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on students' practical training (APL). You work closely with educational leadership, teachers, and employers, playing a key role in creating relevant internship placements that align with the goals of the education and the needs of the labor market.
Responsibilities
- Establish, develop, and maintain contacts with companies and industry actors within construction, electrical, industrial, and HVAC/property sectors.
- Match students with suitable APL placements together with teachers.
- Inform supervisors about goals, assessment, and responsibilities.
- Ensure the quality of APL placements through visits and check-ins.
- Handle agreements and documentation according to routine.
- Support students before practical periods together with teachers.
- Contribute to quality work and the development of the school's APL process and industry collaboration.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Experience in coordination, administration, or working life collaboration.
- Good digital competence and familiarity with administrative tasks.
- Ability to network and establish contacts with employers.
- Active and comfortable using social media, such as LinkedIn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience from adult education or vocational training.
- Industry contacts within the relevant educational areas.
- Pedagogical experience or supervisor training.
