RN Nordic AB is in an expansion phase and is now looking for a driven and analytical Financial Controller who wants to help develop and strengthen our finance department.

About the role

As a Financial Controller, you will have a significant role in building and improving processes and contributing to a strong and scalable finance function with quality, efficiency, and development within accounting and financial reporting. You will work both operationally and developmentally in an organization with an international profile and high pace. We carry out our work on-site from our office in Kista, where you report to the Accounting Manager.

Main responsibilities

• Participate in and drive work within monthly, quarterly, and annual closing – from preparation to analysis and reporting
• Ensure correct, efficient, and timely financial reporting
• Drive improvement initiatives focused on automation and process development
• Responsible for internal control of financial flows
• Ensure correct inventory accounting
• Manage and develop work with currency hedging in collaboration with the Accounting Manager and CFO
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and legal reporting requirements
• Responsible for cash flow forecasting and ongoing liquidity planning
• Contribute to the continuous development of the accounting function

We are looking for someone who has:

• An academic degree in economics, accounting, or finance
• At least 5 years of experience in qualified accounting, controlling, or auditing
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Experience in accounting and good knowledge of IFRS (K3 is an advantage)
• Experience working in ERP systems (advantage with Dynamics 365 Business Central)
• Experience from transaction-intensive operations (e.g., trade, logistics, or import)
• Experience with inventory accounting (advantage)
• Experience with treasury, liquidity management, or financing (advantage)
• Experience with group accounting and consolidation (advantage)
