Confidentiality Officer at the Swedish Inspectorate of Strategic Products (ISP)

Then this might be the role for you. ISP is now looking for a Confidentiality Officer for the Legal and Supervision Group.

Job Description

The Swedish Inspectorate of Strategic Products receives a large number of requests for public documents that must be handled promptly. To handle this task efficiently, the authority has established a specific disclosure function, and your role is to be responsible for this function together with your colleagues. The Confidentiality Officers assess requests for public documents, draft appealable decisions, and communicate with the public regarding requests for public documents, requests for information, questions from the public, and other related matters. When capacity allows, Confidentiality Officers may also handle cases within the Legal and Supervision Group, take minutes during supervision visits, and conduct other investigations and tasks assigned to the group. Continuously contributing to the development of the disclosure function to ensure it is efficient and legally secure is also part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Master of Laws degree or another degree that the authority considers equivalent
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English

About the Group

The Legal and Supervision Group is located within the Business Support unit. The group consists of just over ten employees, including experienced corporate lawyers, junior lawyers, and individuals with other educational backgrounds. In the group, we value helpfulness, pleasant interaction, and an accommodating climate. As the authority grows, we are developing working methods to support each other and the operations smoothly, creating a dynamic work environment where development and learning are central. The group is responsible, among other things, for assisting the Chief Legal Officer in supporting the legal work of the entire authority. The Legal and Supervision Group works broadly with various corporate legal issues, administrative law, public access and secrecy, security protection, and tasks related to core operations. The group is also responsible for assessing the requests for public documents that come into the authority.
