The Upper Secondary School and Labour Market Administration is responsible for labour market initiatives, financial assistance, reception of newly arrived immigrants and quota refugees, as well as upper secondary school, adult education, and holiday internships.

About the job

We are looking for an engaged upper secondary school teacher in electricity and energy who wants to help create a learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Mentorship in the Electricity and Energy Programme, with an important role in guiding our students in their development and learning both at school, during workplace-based learning (APL), and in contact with the industry.
• Teaching in the Electricity and Energy Programme with a focus on Computer and Communication Technology.
• Subject-crossing collaborations with teachers in other subjects. Create networks with the industry outside the school walls and participate in Teknikcollege.
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Document and follow up on students' development.

About you

We are looking for you who are a certified upper secondary school teacher with the qualifications to teach in the Electricity and Energy Programme. We also see that you have documented experience in the teaching profession. As a person, you are clear, responsive, and have a good ability to build trusting relationships with both students and adults.

Requirements:

• Certified and qualified upper secondary school teacher for the Electricity and Energy Programme.
• Documented experience from teaching in upper secondary school.
• Documented experience from working in industries related to the education.
• Experience, knowledge, and familiarity with meeting students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).
