Your Role

In the role of teacher for grades 4-6, you teach students in Swedish, English, and Social Studies (SO). You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in your subjects based on the curriculum. You adapt the teaching based on the students' needs, interests, and prerequisites, and work with leadership and stimulation in the classroom. You monitor, assess, and document students' knowledge development.

The role includes mentorship for a middle school class. You are responsible for creating trusting relationships, and you inspire and motivate students to develop through varied teaching methods and pedagogical tools. Creating study peace and security is a natural part of the role.

You belong to a team for grades 4-6 consisting of a mix of subject teachers. You collaborate closely with your subject colleagues regarding students, planning, assessment, grading, pedagogical development work, and systematic quality work. Team leadership may be included. There is room to influence and develop teaching based on interest, knowledge, and experience.

Your Background

For this position, the requirements are:

• Teacher certification with subject eligibility in Swedish, English, and Social Studies for grades 4-6
• Experience working with students in need of extra adjustments and special support
• Good digital competence with experience using digital pedagogical tools
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Experience in mentorship
• Experience teaching students in Swedish, English, and Social Studies within grades 4-6.
