Thorildsplans Gymnasium is a modern school with attractive educational programs, engaged students, and competent staff. We offer both university-preparatory and vocational programs. Additionally, we have a special educational needs department and a flexible learning program tailored to individual needs.

Job Description

We are looking for a teacher in Mathematics and Physics for the academic year 2026/2027. The employment percentage will likely settle at 100%. The role includes, among other things, teaching, mentorship, participation in program and subject group work, as well as other pedagogical processes regarding our students. You collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of collegial learning to create new and in-depth knowledge.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in the specified subject. As a person, you are secure, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration and build good relationships with both students and colleagues. You plan, organize, and analyze student learning as well as your teaching structure in an effective way. The basic requirement is that you have a teaching license with eligibility to teach the subjects described above.

It is important to us that you contribute to a good atmosphere, take responsibility, have a positive attitude towards interaction, and enjoy working with students. You also participate in our improvement work to raise quality.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
