About Us

This autumn, we are a school with approximately 410 students in grades F–8, with the lower secondary school being gradually expanded one grade at a time. The school is located right next to Edsviken and Ulriksdal Palace Park, meaning we are close to nature while being only 12 minutes by metro from central Stockholm.

The lower secondary school facilities, including the Science lab, have been completely renovated, with the environment optimized for good learning for everyone.

What does the job entail?

We are looking for a teacher for instruction in grades 7–9 with the subject combination Mathematics/Science/Technology (MA/NO/TK). Currently, Technology is not included in this specific position, but it may be added in the future. The position also includes mentorship for grade 8.

Together with other teachers, you will be responsible for the pedagogical activities. You will be part of a work team that designs and develops the operations and lays a good foundation for the students' development. The role includes all aspects of the subjects Mathematics and Science, from developing ideas and planning work to creating and evaluating it. You view collaboration with academic faculties as a natural part of your work to develop your subjects and teaching. You conduct lessons, pedagogical documentation, and strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where all students feel seen.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher for grades 7–9
• have broad qualifications to teach Mathematics and Science
• have experience working as a teacher
• are well-versed in all parts of the curriculum and other relevant regulatory documents
• are familiar with digital tools, which you use creatively in teaching as well as for your own planning, follow-up, and documentation
• have experience working with student documentation
• master the Swedish language in speech and writing.

Qualifications to teach Technology are considered meritorious.

As a person, you are sensitive to students' needs, clear, respectful, and have a great ability to collaborate with students, guardians, and colleagues. Furthermore, you plan, organize, and prioritize effectively, ensuring that all processes are completed with high quality. You adapt easily to changing circumstances and are interested in driving the development of the school and students forward.

You can capture students' attention and create participation and motivation in various activities. You are a secure person with good pedagogical insight, confident in your classroom leadership, and know how to build good relationships.
