Turebergsskolan is a school located within walking distance of Sollentuna center. Approximately 230 students in grades F-9 attend the school. We also have an RN unit with approx. 25 students with mobility impairments, as well as municipality-wide teaching groups for approx. 40 students within the autism spectrum. The school has a well-functioning values-based work and actively works to create an accessible school for every student, and our employees are characterized by great commitment and high competence. We work every day preventively and compensatorily to support the students' social and knowledge development. We are the small school with big possibilities!

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you work with our special teaching groups for students within the autism spectrum and strive to create a cohesive and meaningful school day for the students.

The position is a vacation employment with a combined assignment as a teacher in the leisure center and teaching in physical education in grades 1–5. After school hours, you plan, organize, and carry out varied activities together with colleagues that combine learning, creativity, and play, while also providing space for recovery.

You build safe relationships with students and guardians, use pedagogical tools such as visual supports and digital aids, and continuously work on monitoring and developing the operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is structured, proactive, and flexible, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the operation. You are good at collaborating and quickly build trusting relationships with both students and colleagues. With a focus on possibilities and a creative approach, you contribute to developing an inspiring and inclusive operation.

Requirements

• Licensed teacher in leisure center with qualification in physical education
• Experience working with students within the autism spectrum.
