The Education Administration is responsible for preschools, after-school centers, primary schools, upper secondary schools, as well as adapted primary and upper secondary schools. We have just over 3,200 employees across 40 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four upper secondary schools. The Role and Responsibilities

As a teacher, you are a vital part of contributing to Botkyrka Municipality becoming Sweden's best school municipality, where students succeed in school and develop according to their unique abilities.

In your role, you conduct teaching and related tasks such as preparation and follow-up work, as well as grading. You are part of a work team and participate in the team's collaborative efforts. You contribute to a good learning environment through active work in working groups, fostering collegial collaboration. Together, you focus on the students' knowledge development. You also collaborate with other staff at the school. You actively participate in the school's values-based work and work inclusively. You strive to stay updated as a teacher and in your subjects through environmental scanning, further education, and collegial learning. Mentoring is a central part of your role, involving social contact with students and classes, communication with guardians, handling absences, development talks, and collaboration with authorities and social services. In your role, you collaborate with the student health team. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

As an employee with us, you are an ambassador for the school by participating in open houses, fairs, etc.

Skogsbacksskolan is a preschool to grade 9 school with approximately 450 students, including adapted primary school and special preschool.

Who You Are

Requirements:

A teacher education is required. We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in Swedish, Social Studies, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Technology, and English for grades 4–6. You will be teaching in grade 5.

You have or are:

• Clear student focus and strong belief in all students' desire to succeed.
• A professional approach in meetings with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Easy to collaborate and create good working relationships.
• Good organizational skills and able to structure your work effectively.
• Capable of working well both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.
• Flexible and solution-oriented.
