This is what we offer you

As a study and career counselor at Hermods Sollentuna, you will have a central role in supporting and guiding students in their study and career choices. You work closely with students, teachers, school management, and other functions to ensure that every individual has the right prerequisites to plan and carry out their studies.

The role involves conducting counseling sessions, providing information about studies and career choices, participating in introductions and startups, and supporting students in their individual study planning. You work with both booked appointments and drop-ins and are an important part of the school's work to create clarity and structure in students' study paths.

You will also collaborate with administrative staff, the student health team, and school management, and contribute to the school's systematic quality work. Since we conduct teaching both during the day and in the evenings, some evening work may be included in the position.

This is who we are looking for

We are looking for you who have a degree in study and career counseling and preferably experience working within adult education. You have good knowledge of Komvux (Adult Education) and SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) and are confident in conducting counseling sessions and working with students in different educational and career choice situations.

You are accustomed to working systematically with documentation and individual study plans and have good communicative skills in both speech and writing.

Requirements for the position:

• Degree in study and career counseling

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience with SFI and work within upper secondary and basic adult education
• Experience working in multilingual environments
• Experience working with digital counseling tools and administrative systems within adult education
