Do you want to work in direct social work by supporting people with disabilities in their development? We are now looking for coaches for our day activities in Västerort (Spånga, Vällingby, and Hässelby). We are also looking for you who are interested in a greater responsibility role on the unit as a unit support staff. As unit support, you work in the leadership team with the manager and focus on quality assurance. We offer training and several benefits.

About the role

The work involves supporting people with, among other things, autism, intellectual disabilities, and neuropsychiatric disabilities in their development. At Nytida's day activities, we have a main focus: the individual.

That the activity is individually designed is paramount to everything else. We start from the person's needs, interests, motivation, and above all resources. Therefore, the activity varies from person to person. A strong desire for most is to establish or re-establish contact with working life. For life to be experienced as meaningful, something more is often needed. It can involve developing through physical activity, education, crafts, or simply meeting others to socialize and talk about life. Your tasks also include setting goals, planning, and documenting together with the client based on the current implementation plan, as well as contacting case workers and networks.

Way of working

We offer a wide range of activities that should be meaningful and developmental for you. It is your goals and visions that guide us. We carefully investigate what you are specifically interested in before you start with us. It should be fun, developmental, and meaningful to work here!

We work individually adapted based on Nytida's framework for pedagogy, which is built on low-affective interaction, clarifying pedagogy, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).

Your experience and knowledge

You have upper secondary education in care and nursing, for example as an assistant nurse. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is meritorious if you have post-secondary education in social work, such as a social worker, occupational therapist, or similar, as well as experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.

You have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people, are responsible, and have personal maturity. You enjoy working in a team, supporting your colleagues, and always have the best interests of our employees as your starting point in everything you do.

Other

Employment type: Permanent with a 6-month probation period and temporary positions.

Working hours and degree: Full time 100%. There are also opportunities for temporary positions and work as a substitute. Please write in your application what type of employment you prefer.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting.

Start date: By agreement.
