We are looking for a certified teacher up to and including year 9 who wants to work as a special education teacher at a school with the following conditions:

You will work in a working group for years 7–9, consisting of skilled and dedicated staff such as educators, student support staff, counselors, and study and career advisors. Together, you will work to give all students good opportunities to develop towards the goals of the education. There is a very good atmosphere in the working group.

We are now looking for a special education teacher on a 90–100% basis who has good knowledge of reading and writing development, can mentor teachers to develop teaching, and is experienced in working with student absenteeism, both preventive and remedial.

You put the student at the center and are a clear leader with good pedagogical skills. You easily build good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. You are experienced in writing action plans and pedagogical assessments, as well as leading systematic student health work.

You are sensitive to the needs of students and the operation, and are interested in developing and adapting your working methods to contribute to the school's student health work and to screen students' reading skills in middle school.

You are well-versed in the goals of the curriculum and work systematically to make teaching accessible to students by mentoring teachers.

As a person, you are positive, solution-focused, and flexible. You are a good role model for students and staff, and your values align well with those of Västbergaskolan.

The position includes participating in EHT meetings in middle school every week, as well as meetings where all the school's special teachers and special education teachers meet once a week. Together with staff in our studio operations, special math teachers, and other teachers, you work to continuously develop teaching so that every student gets the opportunity to develop as far as possible.

Salary: According to agreement.

Start date: August 11, 2026, or as soon as possible during the autumn term of 2026.
