Do you want to develop our learning environment? We are looking for a special needs teacher to Petrusgruppen

Scope: Part-time 50% (3 days/week)

Location: Stefanskolan (Ängbyplan) and Johan Movingers Gymnasium (Solna)

Are you passionate about creating a school where every student has the chance to succeed? We are now looking for you, a certified teacher and qualified special needs teacher, for a key role in our two smaller, personal school units within Petrusgruppen. Here, you will meet a warm, family-like atmosphere and a fantastic team of dedicated teachers. Thanks to the size of the schools, we have a unique opportunity for close relationships, which also gives us a genuine study environment in the classrooms where it is easy to thrive and work.

About our schools

The schools actively work to create a good study environment and an active student health service with the student at the center.

The schools are part of Petrusgruppen, a school group consisting of several Christian schools.

In this position, you get the best of both worlds and share your time between two of our cozy schools with a Christian value base.

Stefanskolan (2 days/week): A free school for grades F–9 with approximately 110 students. The school is located in beautiful natural areas near Ängbyplan, close to the Judarskogen nature reserve, among other places.

Johan Movingers Gymnasium (1 day/week): Our upper secondary school with approximately 110 students distributed across three programs: Childcare and Leisure (BF), Natural Sciences (NAT), and Social Sciences (SAM). The school is located in charming Old Råsunda in Solna, with good access to public transport.

Your assignment

As a special needs teacher in Petrusgruppen, you work to provide special support to students from preschool class up to upper secondary school. Since the role spans the entire educational chain, we are looking for you who have experience from both primary school and upper secondary school, which of course gives you the broad perspective needed to meet the different needs of our students.

You are part of our student health team, which is shared by both schools. In the team, you become an important bridge and contact person between the teachers, the Student Health Team (EHT), and external actors. Your focus is on working preventively and health-promotingly at the individual, group, and organizational levels to support students academically and contribute to a good learning environment.

Your main tasks:

Guidance & Support: You guide teachers and other school staff in working with students in need of support.

Investigations & Action Plans: You are responsible for the special needs work in the student health team, which among other things involves proposing, evaluating, and following up on adjustments, as well as drawing up investigations and action plans.

Systematic Work: You actively drive both smaller and larger interventions at the individual, group, and organizational levels, with continuous evaluation and follow-up in all stages together with involved actors.

Contact Areas: You have broad contact areas and function as a natural link and contact person out to teachers, into the student health team, as well as towards students, guardians, and other external actors.

Who are you? We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and qualified special needs teacher with experience from both primary and upper secondary levels. Since the role involves many contact areas, you are a secure, well-educated, and relationship-building team player who enjoys collaborating closely with colleagues to lift students academically. We would appreciate it if you share our Christian value base.

Welcome with your application to a workplace with a lot of heart and short decision-making paths!

We only accept applications via email.
