About the role

We are looking for a certified Swedish teacher for grades 4–5 who is an enthusiastic and professional educator. Your personal qualities are of great importance to our organization's success.

The job description includes, in addition to common teaching tasks such as planning, instruction, grading, and follow-up, mentorship for students in one of the classes you teach. You will be available for meetings with guardians, students, and colleagues, and will work to uphold IES's values and vision. At IES, the focus is on learning and a calm environment where school routines and rules are followed by both students and staff. A pleasant atmosphere and a good collaborative climate are key words behind our success. Qualifications

• Swedish teaching certification
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• You have a secure and clear leadership style
• You can adapt your teaching to reach different students

Experience teaching in international environments is an advantage.

You want to do the little extra for your students and colleagues, and possess the tools to create a good learning environment where your leadership and teaching style are key to your students' success. You will work closely with your department colleagues as well as our student health team.

Terms of employment

Start date: August 2026.
Scope: Permanent full-time position, 100%.
