About the position

Vux Huddinge is looking for a teacher in Swedish as a Second Language with an interest in special education. This role involves coordinating our study team and working consultatively with other teachers in the collegium and operationally with students. Vux Huddinge offers education at different levels and for students with different support needs. This means our team needs someone who coordinates the development of the team and the efficiency of the work.

As an employee at Vux Huddinge, you work together with other colleagues in the work group by carrying out adult education's national mission and achieving the operation's overarching goals and guidelines with a focus on the target group's specific needs. The student groups are heterogeneous and place high demands on pedagogical and didactic skills.

The pedagogical work at Vux Huddinge is based on a municipality-wide pedagogical platform developed by the municipality's teachers and school leadership based on current research. Vux Huddinge has a clear formative working approach. Courses are offered both through distance learning and through digital remote teaching and on-site lessons with fixed daytime teaching slots.

The position is permanent. Start date 15/9 or according to agreement.

Who are you?

Qualifications:

• Teaching certification.
• 90 credits in Swedish as a Second Language.
• Experience in developmental assignments.
• Good knowledge of and experience working with digital work tools.
• High communicative ability, social competence, and good teamwork skills where the student's needs are always in focus.

Meritorious competencies:

• Work within student health services.
• Experience in leading developmental roles and/or experience as a lead teacher.

You are engaged and communicative and put the students' learning in focus. You have good teamwork skills and are easy to build safe and trusting relationships.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
