The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and the Primary and Lower Secondary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age care, primary and lower secondary school, and adapted primary and lower secondary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a secure educational environment. About the School

Vista School is a grades F–9 school with approximately 810 students. Here, a dedicated and competent staff group works to give our students the best conditions for an inspiring and educational school time. Our operations are based on respect and trust, where security and study environment are central concepts.

The school is located in pleasant and modern premises, surrounded by a nature-oriented environment, and has a high degree of digitalization. In grades F–6, we work with iPads, and in grades 7–9, we use Chromebooks as pedagogical tools.

Job Responsibilities

Vista School is now looking for a substitute teacher for a one-year substitute position during the period August 10, 2026 – June 16, 2027, full-time.

The position involves teaching mathematics, Science (NO), and Technology in grade 6. The assignment also includes mentorship for students in grade 6.

As a teacher here, you are part of a competent and dedicated team. The team has, in addition to regular conference times, jointly scheduled planning time every week.

Reading, curiosity, and joy of learning are cornerstones in Huddinge Municipality's primary and lower secondary schools. Prioritized development areas are mathematics, language development, and IT. At Vista School, we work with an entrepreneurial approach and use digital tools as a natural part of teaching.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach mathematics, Science (NO), and Technology for grade 6.

You are an engaged, curious, and flexible educator who puts the students' learning in focus. You have good cooperation skills and are easy to create secure and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

In your pedagogical leadership, you are clear, secure, and positive. You create a work environment characterized by structure, study environment, joy, and respect. With good didactic competence, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to adapt teaching, you meet each student based on their needs and conditions.

You have a reflective approach and continuously work on developing your teaching. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
