The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and the Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age care, primary school, and adapted primary school. About the School

Källbrinksskolan is beautifully located in nature in the middle of Huddinge, with lovely forests and the Källbrink sports field right on the doorstep. At Källbrink, 50 employees work with approximately 450 students. The educators work in grade-based teams with four classes per grade. There is also a team consisting of the school's three smaller teaching groups.

The operations are characterized by competence and a positive view of students. In our work with students, we focus on the individual's needs, and we have a working method where adjustments, both large and small, are the starting point. We are flexible in lesson planning and examination tasks, and we believe that schoolwork should be done at school. We are a one-to-one school and work with Chromebooks as a digital tool.

About the Position

The position is a permanent full-time position with an start date of August 10, 2026. As an English teacher, you will teach in grades 7, 8, and 9. The position includes shared mentorship together with a colleague. You will plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching based on the curriculum, as well as follow up, assess, grade, and document the students' knowledge development. You will be part of both a grade team and a subject team with good opportunities for collaboration and collegial learning.

In the assignment, you are expected to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students. You are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of your teaching. You have good digital competence and see Vklass, Teams, and Google Classroom as natural tools in your work and communication.

You have subject colleagues and you meet in subject teams, which gives good opportunities for collaboration. You will also be part of a grade team, where you together work with the students and teaching in a grade, to best meet the students' needs and help them develop both academically and socially.

Being a teacher and professional pedagogue in Huddinge Municipality means that you have high expectations and a belief that all students can achieve success based on their prerequisites. You create good relationships, both with students and with guardians, built on trust and respect. We work with collegial learning, which means that you collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself and your teaching as well as the school's pedagogical work.

About You

You are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach English in grades 7-9 and preferably another subject. You have previous experience of teaching in lower secondary school and are well acquainted with the primary school's steering documents. You see documentation and assessment as a natural part of your work.

You are a positive and competent pedagogue with a strong commitment to the students' development. You are flexible and creative with teaching that stimulates students' curiosity and desire to learn. You see the relationship as your primary pedagogical tool, and you are good at creating good relationships and collaborating with students, guardians, and colleagues.

In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader, and in the classroom, you have the ability to create a working environment characterized by safety, trust, and respect. You have high competence to meet the students based on their prerequisites and needs. It is particularly meritorious if you have previous experience of working with neurodivergent conditions (NPF). By combining good didactic skills with secure subject knowledge and clearly structured and varied teaching, you give students the best opportunities to develop and reach their goals.
