The Upper Secondary and Labor Market Administration is responsible for labor market measures, financial assistance, reception of newly arrived and quota refugees, as well as upper secondary school, adult education, and holiday internships.

About the position

As a student assistant in the special educational Klippan operation, you work in close collaboration with students and teachers as well as other staff to ensure that students are given the best conditions for security and learning. Your work with students' security and learning takes place both in the classroom during lesson time and outside lesson time during breaks and lunches.

This specific position involves primarily working closely with one of our students in the operation to support the student's personal medical situation. In addition, it includes being a pedagogical and social resource for other students in the operation.

The position is a fixed-term appointment with an start date in August 2026 until June 2027, and the extent is 80%.

Who are you?

For this position, you are required to have:

• Upper secondary education
• Experience working in schools with the age group 14-19 years
• Experience working with students with difficulties within NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience working with teenagers or adults with a need for medical support.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Experience working in care and social services, for example within personal assistance, short-term housing, day activities, or other operations where you have cared for others.
• Upper secondary education with a focus on children and leisure or care and social services.
• Education or completed courses within NPF.
• Experience working in adapted school forms.
• Knowledge of and practical experience with clarifying pedagogy and positive behavior support.

To succeed in the role, it is important that you are a secure, stable, and professional person who is calm and controlled in stressful and pressured situations. You have both interest and ability to cooperate, communicate, and create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are sensitive and open to colleagues' thoughts and understand the importance of close collaboration. You also understand that students have different conditions and needs and absorb knowledge in different ways. This means that you also adapt your choice of working methods and tools after each student or group.

Furthermore, you have the ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practice. You can handle many different tasks, working methods, and problems and find it easy to adapt to both changed circumstances and the needs of the operation and students. You are open to new situations and solutions and have the ability to think differently and anew. It is important that you are loyal to your workplace and employer.
