Vallatorpsskolan is located in western Täby, with forests and nature as your nearest neighbors. Here, accessible learning and collaboration based on each student's best interests are fundamental to our work, ensuring that all students achieve the best possible results in their schooling.

Vallatorpsskolan has approximately 300 students, and the staff works in learning teams to best utilize each other's strengths. We are now looking for you who can teach music and contribute with musical creativity in the after-school center! As a teacher here, you drive and develop teaching together with students, colleagues, and school leadership. You work actively for a school where everyone is included in the operations.

The position comprises approximately 50% teaching in music and 50% teaching in the after-school center.

Who are you?

We want you who apply for the position to:

• have a teaching license and be qualified to teach music.
• work both formatively and with language development
• be well-versed in the curriculum documents and able to translate these into learning that is understandable and meaningful for the students
• use digital tools for student learning
• see the whole student's study situation and collaborate with the student health service where needed

As a person, you are structured, well-planned, and inspiring in your teaching. You are team-oriented and interested in contributing to the professional development of the operations. You have the ability to plan and organize both your own work and the students' work in an effective way, creating a trusting classroom climate where all students have a voice.

We would prefer that you have worked as a teacher for a few years, but newly graduated teachers are also welcome to apply.
