ANIMALLOGOS ABStockholms län, Stockholm
Previous experience is desired
Are you our new classroom resource?
Do you want to make a difference for young people and contribute to safety and study peace in the classroom? Djurgymnasiet is now looking for an engaged and relationship-skilled person for an important and teacher-relieving role.
About the role
We are looking for a complementary pedagogical force for our classrooms. The position is a teacher-relieving role in line with the Swedish National Agency for Education's guidelines. This means you step in to support in the classroom with a focus on safety, study peace, and the practical work surrounding the lessons.
Through your presence, you relieve our regular teachers so they can focus fully on their core mission: teaching. The best thing about this role is that you get to focus entirely on human interaction and direct support for the students. You are not responsible for planning, grading, or assessment.
Your main tasks:
- Be an extra resource in the classroom to support students in their schoolwork.
- Promote safety and study peace by helping students maintain focus and structure during lessons.
- Build good relationships with the young people and act as a safe, adult role model.
- Help with practical tasks related to the teaching.
Who are you?
To thrive in this role, you are someone who takes initiative and is skilled at building relationships. You have a natural ability to connect with young people and meet challenges with a solution-oriented and positive mindset.
What do you get?
A workplace with nice students, supportive colleagues, and lots of animals. We are a school with high student satisfaction and a strong shared interest in animals. The role is new at the school, giving you the opportunity to help shape how it best meets the needs of our students.
Requirements and merits:
- Personal qualities: Self-motivated, relationship-skilled, positive, and flexible.
- Experience: It is highly meritorious if you have experience working with young people, preferably in upper secondary school, leisure activities, or club life.
- Education: Relevant education with a pedagogical focus, or other educational background that the employer deems relevant for the role.
Scope and employment
- Scope: 80–100% (by agreement).
- Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
- Period: End of August until December 2026 (initially, with possible extension).
- Salary: Approx. 27,000 SEK.
Does this sound like your next challenge? Send your application with a CV and a short cover letter to us as soon as possible. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the final application date. Please state when you can earliest start the position in your application.
