We are looking for a Student Support Assistant for the Nature Tourism program at Realgymnasiet Stockholm

As a Student Support Assistant, you will work closely with a student who needs special support in their school situation. Your task is to facilitate the student's school day, both during lessons and during breaks, and contribute to the student's development based on their prerequisites.

Responsibilities:

• Support the student in the classroom, during practical exercises, or during work placements (APL).
• Be available and present during breaks.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education coordinators, and other staff regarding the student's needs.
• Promote the student's independence and social participation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children and young people, preferably in schools or leisure activities.
• Is calm, patient, and has the ability to build good relationships.
• Can work both in a team and independently.
• Has a good ability to adapt to different needs and situations.

Education in child and youth studies, pedagogy, or similar is meritorious, but we place great emphasis on personal suitability. Education or experience within one or more professions within nature tourism is also considered an advantage.
