Are you a dedicated educator passionate about singing and stage performance? Experience in dance and other related fields is also appreciated. Do you want to work in an established cultural school where creativity, quality, and community are at the center?
In 2026, our activity celebrates its 20th anniversary.
We operate in inspiring facilities at Nacka Forum, featuring a dance studio, singing studio, a mini-stage with professional sound and lighting equipment, and a well-equipped costume storage. Each academic year, we create a new musical production where children and young people between the ages of 6 and 19 can develop both artistically and personally.
After eight fantastic years, our current musical pedagogue is moving on to new challenges elsewhere. We are now looking for you who want to become part of our dedicated pedagogical team and continue to develop the activity together with us.
About the Position
Employment Type
Fixed-term employment (special fixed-term).
Period
August 2026 – June 2027.
Scope
30 hours per week during 24 teaching weeks per academic year (equivalent to approximately 75% during the active teaching period).
The teaching is primarily scheduled for:
- Saturday approx. 09:30–16:00
- Sunday approx. 12:00–19:00
- Some evening teaching may occur
Two joint planning days with the pedagogical team are included.
Approximately seven hours of independent planning time per week is included in the position as work on one's own responsibility. The work entails independent pedagogical responsibility within the framework of the activity's goals, values, and quality requirements.
The position also includes singing recording days, rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and two long performance days during a weekend in June 2027.
Responsibilities
You will, among other things:
- Teach children and young people singing with a focus on musicals and stage performance.
- Adapt music, arrangements, and lyrics based on the year's musical production.
- Work with stage movement and choreographic material together with other educators.
- Inspire and coach students based on their individual development.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of the year's musical production.
- Actively participate in the quality and development work of the activity with Nacka Municipality.
We are looking for someone who
- Has pedagogical education or documented experience in (musical), singing, or performing arts.
- Has experience teaching children and young people.
- Has good knowledge of both singing and stage movement/dance.
- Enjoys creating, developing, and inspiring.
- Is a team player who thrives working long-term with a dedicated team.
- Shares our values and wants to contribute to a safe, inclusive, and creative cultural school activity in Nacka.
We would appreciate it if you enjoy writing song lyrics, creating music, developing musical arrangements, and contributing your own ideas to our productions.
If you have additional competencies, such as in drama, dance, child and youth pedagogy, or music production, there is an opportunity to discuss an expanded assignment and a higher percentage of employment.

Salary
The position corresponds to 75%.
Current monthly salary 26,250 SEK, based on a full-time salary of 35,000 SEK.
The salary setting follows the activity's compensation model for authorized cultural school operations.
In addition to the base salary, result-based compensation or special development supplements may become relevant when the activity's economic conditions allow. The assessment is based on a collective result, such as the development of the activity, quality work, engagement, collaboration in the pedagogical team, and student materials. Any supplements are decided by the employer.
About the Activity
The activity is conducted within the framework of authorized cultural school operations with Nacka KFUM (Activities For Young People) as the main operator in Nacka.
The employer is In Joy Of Moments AB, which is responsible for personnel, premises, and administration according to a cooperation agreement.
