Rösjöskolan is located in Edsberg, close to nature reserves and Lake Rösjön. Approximately 420 students attend the school, ranging from preschool class to grade 6. We offer school and leisure-time activities for students in primary school, adapted primary school, and preparatory classes. The school environment creates all prerequisites for movement, learning, and health, and our staff is driven by making a difference and creating conditions for every student to reach as far as possible in their knowledge development. The compensatory mission is significant, and the school actively works to create a socially and academically promoting environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a leisure-time center teacher at Rösjöskolan, you work for the student's entire school day. During school hours, you collaborate with the responsible teaching teacher and contribute the leisure-time center's perspective according to the Swedish National Curriculum for Compulsory School (Lgr22). You support students' social development, create safety, and work with early interventions in close dialogue with the work team.

In the afternoons, you plan and implement activities together with the leisure-time center's work team, where learning, movement, and free play take place. You use digital tools as a natural part of creating accessible and varied learning environments and see learning in play.

You work relationally, have a close and professional contact with guardians, and create participation by allowing students to influence and evaluate the leisure-time center's activities. You are part of a work team where collaboration and shared responsibility are central.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is structured, collaborative, and confident in your pedagogical leadership. You enjoy working together with colleagues and have a relational approach that promotes safety, participation, and learning.

You have a good ability to plan and implement activities based on Lgr22 and create learning environments where students are given the opportunity to develop their skills. You work preventively with early interventions and find it easy to build good relationships with both students and guardians.

Requirements

• Licensed teacher for leisure-time centers (fritidshem)

Merits

• Experience working in leisure-time centers or school grades F–3
• Experience working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and/or adaptations in the activities
• Experience working in a multilingual context
• Experience documenting in digital systems
