Kulturskolan Raketen is an independent, non-profit primary school located in Björkhagen. A total of 254 students attend the school, from pre-school class to grade 9. The school has been in operation for over 30 years and is well-established in the area. Our profile is "Culture, Environment and Justice," and we work based on the motto "a child has many languages," which means, among other things, that we integrate aesthetic subjects with theoretical ones in what we call "themes" already from pre-school class.
The atmosphere at the school is calm, the students are ambitious, and the teachers are experienced.
We are now looking for a leisure-time center teacher (fritidshemmet) for the autumn term 2026. The position is 95% and is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.
As a leisure-time center teacher, you will be involved in the planning of the center and be an active part of the continued development of both the leisure-time center and the entire lower primary school. You should be able to plan and carry out activities independently.
Good experience working in the early years of primary school, excellent teamwork skills, and thorough knowledge of how to adapt teaching and working methods for a diverse student group are necessary prerequisites for working at Kulturskolan Raketen.

- have experience working with students with ADHD/Autism (NPF)
- be able to build trusting relationships with guardians
- be able to plan, implement, and evaluate activities during breaks and outdoors in nature
- wish to develop children's social skills at both individual and group levels
Collaboration is key to the school's teaching method, especially in the working method referred to as "themes." For this reason, we place special emphasis on teamwork and adaptability.
The employment is permanent with a 95% workload and a 6-month probationary period.
The earliest start date is August 11, 2026, or by agreement. Interviews will be held on a rolling basis.
