Do you want to become part of our wonderful team at Sjöstaden?

Sjöstaden is one of four preschools included in preschool area 13 Nacka/Stockholm. Sjöstaden is located in the heart of Hammarby Sjöstad. Our unique location with both nature and culture within reach allows us to easily create varied days around our profile Movement. In our large, bright premises, every child gets the opportunity to learn and develop based on their own prerequisites in interaction with each other and the adults at the preschool.

When the child leaves us to start school, we want the child to be equipped with a backpack filled with security – the security of being their own individual, of questioning and being critical in their thinking, of being able to use different materials, tools, and modes of expression, and of being part of a larger society and feeling like a global citizen. Based on our direction, we want the children to experience the joy of movement and gain knowledge about the importance of recovery and rest. We want to give the children good habits and make them realize the importance of movement and health for well-being. We encourage the children to become independent and secure individuals who know who they are and what they stand for, who take responsibility for themselves, for each other, and for the society we live in. We use a book as a project that creates a red thread between the departments and throughout the entire preschool.

We strive to give every child in our preschool the best conditions to feel good, grow, develop, learn new things, and become independent individuals. Something we think is the most important and fun thing to work with! Through joint collegial reflections, we meet each other's thoughts and grow in our profession.

For us, it is important that you, who want to work as a preschool teacher with us, feel curiosity about your assignment. Through our development work, you get to challenge your colleagues and let yourself be challenged and grow. Our way of working is based on systematic joint analyses, and from them, a continuous development work is ongoing with a focus on high quality and joy.

As a preschool teacher within Pysslingen Preschools, you help realize our offer "A safe and stimulating world full of opportunities" to both children and guardians as well as employees.
