International English School (IES) in Kista is a dynamic and growing F-9 school with an international atmosphere. We are a bilingual school following the Swedish curriculum. We are now looking for an engaged and certified primary school teacher who is passionate about laying the foundation for our students' learning journey.

The position is a permanent employment with a start date in August 2026 (starting with a six-month probationary period).

In the role of a teacher for grades 1–3 at IES Kista, you have a particularly important task: to be part of our focus on language development and the national literacy and numeracy guarantee. We place great emphasis on the Swedish language as the foundation for all learning.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct teaching with high engagement and a clear focus on basic skills in Swedish and mathematics.
• Create a safe and stimulating learning environment where study discipline is a given.
• Monitor and document student development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and guardians to support the student's entire school journey.

• Are a certified teacher with eligibility for grades 1–3 in all subjects.

• Are well-versed in Lgr22 and work data-driven to achieve knowledge goals.
• Have good digital competence (we work in Google Workspace and SchoolSoft).
