Job Description
The electrification of heavy transport requires next-generation charging infrastructure capable of delivering fast, efficient, and reliable charging while supporting future grid services through vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology and mobile energy storage.
This project focuses on the design, modeling, control, and hardware development of fast-charging systems for heavy electric vehicles. The research covers high-performance power electronic converters, system-level modeling, control strategies, grid integration, and coordination of mobile energy storage.
This project is funded by Vinnova in collaboration with the City of Stockholm, Hitachi Energy, Vattenfall, and others.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Completed PhD degree or foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas: power electronics hardware, design of charging converters for electric vehicles, or electric vehicle charging management.
- Knowledge of diversity and equal treatment issues, with a specific focus on gender equality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively.
- Independence.

About the Position
