The University College of Applied Sciences in Upplands-Bro is continuously seeking qualified consultants, educators, and industry experts for our Traffic Instructor Education program.

We are looking for you who wish to share your professional knowledge and contribute to training the next generation of traffic instructors in a modern, work-integrated, and industry-rooted higher vocational education.

We welcome individual consultants, educational companies, and specialist competencies from the driving school industry and related fields.

About the University College of Applied Sciences in Upplands-Bro

The University College of Applied Sciences in Upplands-Bro offers post-secondary education developed in collaboration with working life, based on the competence needs of the industries. Our programs are characterized by high quality, strong links to working life, and close cooperation with employers and industry organizations.

The Traffic Instructor Education consists of 300 YH credits and is conducted full-time with place-based teaching in Brunna, Upplands-Bro.

The goal is to train competent and professional traffic instructors who can meet future demands regarding traffic safety, pedagogy, sustainable mobility, and a changing transport landscape.

We are seeking educators in areas such as:

• Traffic Pedagogy
• Traffic and Traffic Safety
• Laws and Regulations
• Communication and Leadership
• Vehicles, Technology, and Sustainable Development

We are also interested in educators in other relevant subject areas that strengthen the quality and work-integration of the education.

We are looking for you who:

• Have documented competence in the relevant subject area
• Have current professional experience from the driving school industry or related activities
• Have experience in teaching, education, supervision, or competence development
• Have good pedagogical skills and can translate theory into practice
• Wish to contribute to the students' development and professional competence

Meritorious

• Experience of teaching within University College of Applied Sciences
• Experience of adult education or post-secondary education
• Experience of examination and assessment
• Knowledge of the University College of Applied Sciences' pedagogy and working methods

We consider it a great advantage if you already teach similar courses and have your own course materials and pedagogical approaches that can be adapted as needed. About the assignments

The assignments vary in scope and may include:

• Individual lectures
• Workshops and seminars
• Course responsibility for entire courses or course modules
• Examination and assessment
• Supervision of students
• Participation in the development of the education's content and quality

The assignments are primarily conducted on-site in Brunna, Upplands-Bro.

About the recruitment process:
