Do you want to train the traffic instructors of the future?

The University College in Upplands-Bro is growing and is now looking for an engaged traffic instructor who wants to help develop our Traffic Instructor Education program. Here, you will have the opportunity to use your professional competence to train future traffic instructors and contribute to strong competence supply within the industry.

About the workplace

The University College in Upplands-Bro offers post-secondary education in close collaboration with working life. Our Traffic Instructor Education comprises 300 YH credits and is conducted full-time with place-based teaching in Brunna.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of traffic instructor at the University College, you will:

• Plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching within the Traffic Instructor Education program
• Mentor and coach students throughout the education
• Assess and examine students' performance
• Collaborate with industry companies and LIA (Learning in Working Life) placements
• Contribute to the education's quality and development work
• Participate in management group work and educational planning as needed

We are looking for you who:

• Are educated as a traffic instructor
• Have several years of experience from driving school operations
• Have good pedagogical skills
• Are confident in leading groups and creating engagement
• Have good administrative and digital competence
• Have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish

Merits

• Experience of adult education or University College
• Experience of mentoring or education
• Further education in pedagogy or leadership

About the position:
