Deltaskolan in Handen is looking for a certified teacher in SV (Swedish as a Second Language)

You have:

• qualifications to teach grades 7–9 (teaching certification)
• a desire to develop the school of the future
• a passion for pedagogical development with students at the center

Deltaskolan is a private school in Handen (Haninge Municipality) with profiles in: Football, Handball, and Cheerleading.

The school strives to create the best learning environment for its students and provide them with the best conditions to achieve the knowledge goals of the compulsory school. Based on this, Deltaskolan's goal is to become one of Sweden's best schools regarding knowledge and order. We limit the number of students in each class to approximately 20 to offer the best possible learning environment.

Sports are a profile for students who are interested in sports and active in a sports club. The student can choose between three directions: Football, Handball, and Cheerleading, or apply to the school if they participate in other individual sports. In addition to regular physical education, the student can therefore train their special sport two sessions per week.

WORK TASKS

Teaching in grades 7–9. Mentorship is included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You enjoy working with teenagers and have the ability to inspire students.
• You are a person who brings constructive suggestions for solutions.
• If you are or have been a sports leader/coach, it is an asset.
• You are a qualified teacher with a teaching certification for grades 7–9.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Duration: Probationary employment with a possibility of permanent employment.
