Adventure School in Djursholm is now looking for several empathetic and engaged student assistants. Here, you will work with students with autism and intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to create a safe, stimulating, and developmental school environment where every student is given the best possible conditions to reach their full potential.

As a student assistant with us, you are an important support in the students' daily lives. You work closely with both students and colleagues and contribute to a safe and developmental school environment.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Assisting students with their schoolwork and participating in activities such as swimming, sports, and ice skating

• Providing support during short-term supervision (KTT) and documenting in the social journal

• Providing daily care and supporting the students' personal development

• Encouraging students to try new activities and develop their independence

• Working with positive reinforcement in interactions with both students and colleagues

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people with special needs and who want to contribute to their development and well-being.

We would like you to:

• Be trained as a student assistant, childcare worker, or have equivalent pedagogical education

• Have experience working with the target group (meritorious)

• Have knowledge of clarifying pedagogy (meritorious)

• Be a team player who thrives in collaborative teams

• Be solution-focused and resilient

• Have a respectful and trust-building approach

• Express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
