Rudenschöldskolan is a 7-9 school with approximately 420 students and 55 staff members.

We believe in digital lesson design, high adult presence, the right conditions for teachers to focus on teaching, and a good working environment.

We have a learning environment with home classrooms where students have close proximity to their teachers. All students have access to their own iPad, which is used for learning both at school and at home.

Job Description

As a substitute teacher (house substitute), your main task is to cover for absent teachers in all subjects.

Who are you?

You are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach in grades 7-9.

We are looking for someone who is well-versed in the school's view of knowledge and its value-based mission. You have good knowledge and competence in digital and formative learning processes.

We would appreciate it if you were interested in and had experience with language-developing methods in a multilingual classroom. You have the ability to motivate and create learning environments characterized by inclusion, variation, and interactivity. You have the ability to see and meet each student individually and build on what works.

You have a strong commitment in the classroom and take great responsibility in your work.

You have excellent skills in building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are communicative and creative. We appreciate that you dare to think and try new things together with others.

Other Information

Fixed-term employment during the autumn term of 2026, starting as agreed. Holiday employment.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.

We apply individual and differentiated salary setting. For this position, the monthly salary is between 35,000 and 40,000 SEK, depending on experience, education, and competence.

Extract from the Criminal Record

Before an offer of employment is made, you as a candidate are required to present an extract from the criminal record for work in any of the following areas: school or preschool, work with children in other activities than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS (Act of Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), work at or in connection with residential homes for youth (HVB-hem), work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police's website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
